Effective social media campaigns are so much more than just posting good content. In order to be strategic, you need a plan. During your first month with us, we take the time to make that plan by completing an in-depth Brand Audit and strategy.
The Brand Audit is required before entering into a Content Marketing partnership.

We evaluate the online marketing efforts has your company already done such as social media posting, advertising campaigns, email marketing, and blogging habits. What has worked well and what hasn’t?
How are you currently handling social media? How are you creating content? Is your audience currently engaging with it? Why are they engaging with it?
Mapping out the path that your customer takes to purchase is an integral part of implementing an effective marketing plan. Through interviewing you (the expert), industry research, and brainstorming we provide a strategic document that details your customer’s journey, as well as ways to implement effective marketing strategies at each step along the way.
We evaluate “the other guys” are doing and how well it’s working in order to determine your position in the market. This allows us to pin-point your expertise so we can showcase what makes you different.
We hear it all the time. Company owners say that their ideal audience is simply “everyone!” But in reality – is it? Even if you actually offer a product or service that anyone can benefit from, content resonates with people in different ways. Defining who your ideal audience actually is allows us to speak to them with your content.
This visual profile of your target audience members includes demographics such as their gender, age, education level, marital status, personality traits, goals & challenges (pain points), as well as specific ways your brand can help them achieve their goals.
We evaluate your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as a company. Knowing this, we can leverage your strengths as well as offer ways to improve.
What type of personality does your brand have online? Are you cheeky, funny, and casual? Or professional and informative? Does your brand engage with social media trends – even the wacky ones?
This visual profile of your brand’s voice serves as a persona to speak from when creating content. We also map the brand voice to your Ideal Community Member Persona to outline how they “speak” to each other.
A brand-specific style guide provides necessary guidelines to ensure a strong, professional, and consistent brand image as it displays on social media for your brand.
This working document covers the goals for each social media channel, posting frequency goals and guidelines, content generation, creation parameters, imagery guidelines, brand voice, captioning, platform-specific information, community management guidelines, crisis management parameters, formatting requirements, as well as copy-and-paste responses to common inquiries.

BLOG WRITING
This is where you establish yourself online as an expert in your industry. It also can help to get your site ranked higher on search engines. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a long term process comprised of a number of different activities and blogging is just one aspect of it. It also provides content that can be split up into digestable truth nuggets for your community via email or social media.
INCLUDES: interviewing, research, writing, editing/revisions, basic SEO (via Yoast plugin), keyword research, and image sourcing
EMAIL MESSAGING
Email marketing is a great way to engage with your current customers and re-engage with past purchasers. The key here is leveraging their known interest in your product/service and then providing them with something valuable. A simple, good-looking newsletter, funny reminders, fast facts, and important updates are excellent content to put in your customer’s inbox on a regular basis.
INCLUDES: list(s) management, idea generation, copywriting, light graphic design, monthly reporting, drip campaign setup (if desired)
DOCUMENT CREATION
You have to give people a reason to listen to you. The best way to do that is by giving them something they need. By offering valuable resources, you build trust by directly answering their questions. Entice your target audience to engage with your brand by offering something incredibly attractive and helpful. A few common types of lead magnets are downloadable guides, a cheat sheet, resource list, video training, free trial offer, discount, quiz or survey, etc.
INCLUDES: market research, competitive analysis, idea generation, copywriting, layout and design, programming

Each plan includes a standard number of working hours. All tasks (including meetings) count toward this allowance. We track all hours worked in our project management software and it is available to you at any time. This allows for flexibility within each plan for heavier than usual community response, special projects, events, etc. All unused hours rollover until the end of the calendar year.
